Since our foundation in 1978, Always Cleansing has achieved steady growth within the private and commercial sectors. We specialise in the removal of sewage from septic tanks, cesspits, sewage treatment plants and grease from separators serving hotels and more.

From our Rattery base, we operate four 1,500 gallon vacuum tankers and one 3,000 gallon tanker - these are specifically designed to negotiate the narrow Devon lanes.

The main areas we cover are Dartmoor, Exeter, Newton Abbot, Torbay, South Hams and Ivybridge.

We are registered to carry waste under The Control of Pollution (Amendment) Act 1989 and all waste we collect from you is disposed of via South West Water's licensed sewage treatment works based at Totnes, Kingsbridge, Newton Abbot and Exeter

  • You have just emptied our tank and it's full again, why ?

    A septic tank starts to re-fill to its working level as soon as you start to use the property's facilities again after emptying. A septic tank that serves one domestic house will normally refill within 3 to 5 days from emptying it.
