Good Practice

It is important that any sewage system is emptied on a regular basis and ‘regular' is dependant on the type of system you have and the demand being placed on that system.

Ensures satisfactory biological performance

Prevents possible contamination of drainage field

Prevents odour problems

Maximises the life of the soakaway

Annual maintenance & emptying at the very least

Commercially we are being
increasingly employed by
construction companies
emptying sealed cesspools
serving their development
sites and by restaurants,
hotels and garden centres
discharging their kitchen
waste via grease
separators. If grease traps
are not emptied very
regularly and they
discharge to a sewage
system, grease is one of
the biggest killers of any
treatment process.

Customer Service

Customer service is our utmost priority and therefore we operate our bookings on a daily/weekly basis, rather than monthly in order that we can accommodate the inevitable emergencies. The most popular aspect of our service is our telephone call to remind you that your tank is due to be emptied

Our primary customer base is the emptying of domestic septic tanks and sewage systems, generally on an annual basis. There are 3 main reasons for emptying any sewage system on a regular basis. Initially it gives the driver a chance to ensure that the system is in good working order. Secondly by regularly removing the sludge it prevents the solids building up to the extent they exit the tank and contaminate the soakaway, adjacent land or watercourse. Third and finally there are a number of guidelines in place to ensure that all dischargers desludge and maintain/service their sewage systems on a regular basis and ‘regular' is defined within the guidelines as annually.

Remember Local authorities have powers to ensure that adequate maintenance is carried out to any sewage system.
